Moms On The Net
Mombook, anyone?
Mombook, anyone?
Last night for the killionth time in the last month or so, my internet’s went down. Thanks, Time Warner Cable for yet another internet outage. The symptoms: mail will still download from certain types of connections, you can still IM (very important when checking in with your other friends whose internet is also down), but you just can’t. surf. the internet.
Nooooo!!!!
And it only seems to happen at night, which means it is likely caused by owls or vampires.
Nope. Turns out it’s zombies. Hackers attacking zombies. Check Time Warner’s So Cal excuse page: http://www.timewarnercable.com/SoCal/support/local/internetOutage.html. It literally says zombies.
Anyway, last night I was pissed and buzzed so I called up Time Warner at 1 AM and let em have it. Hold time was really short, tank god. The guy said that he would report the outage and credit me back for the day. He said to call every day that it happens and they will credit you for the day. So make sure you call!
And guess how much you get credited for a whole day’s worth of internet?

Times are tough. $1.07 counts. So then the customer service guy says, “Is there anything else I can do for you?” I said, “Yeah, get the internet back.”
He goes, “I’ll try my damnedest.”
So there you have it. Time Warner Cable internet sucks. Except for my customer service guy, Ryan, from last night.
Now in honor of ZOMBIES let’s watch the Evil Nine ZOMBIE VIDEO TRILOGY!
